Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order

How will you know if you will be affected by the Change in Law

  1. Are you responsible for the business premises?
  2. Are you an employer?
  3. Are you self employed with business premises?
  4. Are you a Charity or voluntary organisation?
  5. Are you a contractor with a degree of control over any premises?

If you have answered yes to any of the above questions then you will need to act by the 1st October 2006.

We can help you meet your obligations and responsibilities under both existing and new legislation. We can offer you a complete fire safety package tailored to suit your needs. The initial audit will identify what you need to do

Fire Risk assessment

The Regulatory Reform ( Fire Safety) Order 2005 require that employers carry out a fire risk assessment. We have a system that makes this easy and simple to understand and carry out. We can train you to do the risk assessment or carry it out for you

Fire safety plan

From the results of the risk assessment we can write a fire safety plan to ensure that the items identified in the risk assessment are managed and plans are in place for raising the alarm, fighting the fire and evacuating the premises.

Fire safety Audit

A fire safety audit will help to identify what measures you already have in place and if they are adequate for the risks involved. We look at fire fighting equipment, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire doors, means of escape and signage. It is possible that you have too much or insufficient the audit will enable you to budget effectively for fire safety in your premises

Staff training

We offer an extensive range of training courses for you and your staff from simple and quick fire awareness courses which last an hour to three day fire risk assessment workshops which lead to qualifications in fire risk assessment
